This Privacy Policy describes how LeaseBoss AI collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and a one-way password hash when password sign-in is used
• Usage Data: API calls, file types, processing times, and transaction history
• Lease Content: Uploaded source documents, converted document text, extracted fields, provenance, amendments, review activity, and derived search data

Lease content is stored in tenant-scoped records so authorized members of your organization can view the source, search the portfolio, review extraction results, and maintain a current position as amendments are added. We retain this content while the lease remains in your account. Deleting a lease removes its source document, extracted content, and associated active records, subject to limited backup, security, fraud-prevention, and legal-retention requirements.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our service, process payments, maintain your account, and ensure security.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services:

• Stripe: Payment processing (we don't store credit card information)
• Google OAuth: Optional sign-in method
• Groq: Primary AI inference. Groq states that inference inputs and outputs are not retained by default, but exceptions may apply under its service terms, security practices, or legal obligations.
• OpenAI: Fallback extraction and supporting AI services. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs unless the applicable account or project has been approved and configured for Zero Data Retention.

Provider practices and account configurations can change. We do not promise zero retention by every subprocessor; current contractual terms and configured controls govern each transfer.

Data Security

We use security measures including one-way password hashing, HTTPS/TLS, and database access controls to protect your data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with service providers necessary to operate our service or when required by law.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also export your data or close your account at any time.
